So another friend, CC (too many C friends;
c post below) from back in the day has started a t-shirt line, silk-screening tank tops and tees with artwork from another friend of ours, as well as quotes and pithy comments. This is the way to go; we're in the age of the tee (having moved out of the jeans era) and she's really talented. I've been bugging her to get a website because the shirts are selling really well by word-of-mouth in NY and people always ask me where I found mine. SO, I'm taking a picture of myself wearing my favorite of her shirts and putting it here - so she can't say I never did anything for her.
I'm still trying to get her to replicate a Wonka t-shirt I once saw in Urban Outfitters but refused to pay $30 for. Me and my damn pride. Anyway, I think she's worried about copyright infringement, but Dahl's long gone and Johnny Depp probably wants to forget the whole thing anyway.
