Snow!!

...wish my camera wasn't still in my friend's purse from Friday night, otherwise I would've taken photos of 14th St in a thin but growing blanket of snow. Full disclosure - I woke up at 10:30 and started cleaning my apartment (dreaded job), and my clean, made bed looked so nice with Vanity Fair perched next to the pillow, I hopped back in and read and fell asleep until 3:00. I re-awoke, saw the snow (!!) and decided to trek to Whole Foods, to get some food for the week and break in my new J Crew boots (now on sale, if you're a size 12).

Whole Foods was bustling as always and people were clearly excited to break out gloves and winter coats and purchase firewood. I doubt the government will allow delayed arrivals, but the first move I make tomorrow morning at 6 will be to the computer and OPM.gov!

Meanwhile, enjoy the view...of my J Crew boots.
